budget statement Darling Aladdin calls “new boilers for old”
125,000 households will benefit from a £400 grant. This £50 million
scheme to replace old “G" rated boilers with a new "A" rated condensing
boilers and controls will be launched early next year (2010) and an
estimated four and a half million households will be eligible to apply.
According to the Energy Saving Trust, Old "G" rated boilers are around 65%
efficient, replacing with an "A" rated boilers which are over 90 %
efficient could cut a quarter off the typical families energy bills saving
around £235 per year.

to have the minimum compulsory documents in place so marketing
can begin within 3 days of carrying out the Energy Performance
Certificate assessment.
Once the
Home Information Pack (HIP) is complete, you can have it delivered
electronically; receive a printed hard copy or both.
Canterbury Domestic Energy Assessors can also liaise with your chosen
estate agent or solicitor and deliver the Home Information Pack (HIP)
to them direct also supply the energy rating graph to be included in
the sales literature.

Canterbury Domestic Energy Assessors can carry out your domestic
energy assessment and produce your property's Energy Performance
Certificate (EPC). The domestic energy assessment will be carried out
by our fully accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA).
Our
efficient methods mean we can complete the majority of Energy
Performance Certificates (EPC) 24 hours after assessment. Canterbury
Domestic Energy Assessors will deliver your Energy Performance
Certificates (EPC) direct to you or selected party so it can be
included within your Home Information Pack (HIP).

available to help you, the only element you can’t do yourself is the
